Continuarā Cōmics is located in the heart of Barcelona, in the iconic Casc Antic neighborhood. Our store, at Via Laietana No. 29, is one of the city’s oldest and most historic comic book specialty shops.
For over 40 years, we have dedicated all our energy to being a reference point for comic and pop culture enthusiasts.

How to Get to the Store
Public Transport
Metro: Get off at Jaume I station on line 4 (L4) of the Barcelona Metro. From the metro exit, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Via Laietana 29.
Bus: There are several nearby stops, such as Via Laietana – Comtal, a 1–2 minute walk to the store. Some of the lines that stop in the area: V15, 47, V17, 59.
By Car
Car: Note that central Barcelona often has traffic restrictions, low-emission zones, and limited parking. You can park in a nearby garage (on Via Laietana or surrounding streets) and walk to the store.
Motorbike: Parking is easier on the streets around Via Laietana.

The story of Continuarā Cōmics began in 1980 when two friends, Joan Navarro and Albert Mestres, decided to open a comic book store on Calle Templaris.

In 2008, we received the award for Best Specialty Bookstore at the Barcelona Comic Fair.
It was the first time this award was given, and it made us feel very proud of our work and extremely grateful to our customers and everyone who made it possible—not only to win the award, but to have reached this point and still be able to share this wonderful passion today.
